Unfortunately, babies do not come with a manual on how to take care of them. However, we have partnered with Sevier County Health Department to provide helpful information to you. The information provided below is in the form of brochures which do not translate well. So, we have separate brochures labeled by language for you. Just click on the links below.
The Sevier County Health Department, better known as WIC, located at 719
Middle Creek Road, Sevierville TN 37865, has a FAMILY PLANNING program, for women of any age who want to get a device, birth control pills or injections to prevent pregnancy.
Since they work with an income scale chart, most people do not have to pay anything, and if they do not qualify, it should be only $5.00.
We all know how difficult it is to raise a family right now. It is better to
prevent when services are available and free.
When you go to your appointment, carry a photo ID, even if it is expired, and a water or electric bill. If you live renting with someone else, ask the person for a water or electricity Bill, to verify only that they live in Sevier County.
It is a program in collaboration with Tn DCS, V TN Voices and KidCentral TN. The Evidence-Based Parenting Program builds protective factors in families that, when present, increase well-being of children and families.
Parenting classes are all FREE!
For more information, or to inquire about future classes, please contact Caroline Rodriguez, TN voices – erodrigues@tnvoices.org or 865-250-2997.
