 Women Infant and Children (WIC): This program is offered to pregnant women and new Moms up to six months after delivery, breastfeeding Moms up to one year after delivery, infant and children under the age of five years who live in Tennessee and meet income and program eligibility and guidelines. This Program provides food instruments which can be used at local stores to purchase mil, cereal, juice, eggs, cheese, peanut butter, whole gran breads, dry beans, fresh/frozen fruits and vegetables, infant formula, baby food and infant cereal. WIC also offers breastfeeding guidance and support, healthy eating education, and referral for a variety of services. ​DENTAL COVERAGE FOR PREGNANT AND POSTPARTUM WOMEN age 21 and older do not currently receive a dental benefit from TennCare will receive, effective April 1st, 2022, diagnostic xrays and exams, preventive cleanings, topical fluoride treatments and caries arresting medicament, restorative (fillings), endodontics (1 root canal per member per eligibility period), scaling and root planning, full moth debridement, crowns (2 per member eligibility period), complete dentures, complete dentures, denture relines, tooth extractions, alveoloplasty, removal of lateral exostosis, removal of torus palatinus, removal of torus mandibularis an palliative treatments. ​Maryville Pregnancy Resource Center.

All our services are FREE OF CHARGE and CONFIDENTIAL. Mobile Unit located at the old Women’s Care Center at 800 Park Road, Sevierville.  Our FREE on-site mobile medical unit offers confidential sexual health services for men and women from licensed medical professionals. If the door is open or if someone is outside the unit, walk on or text “Mobile Appointment” for the next available appointment to 865-409-0929, or call for an appointment. Ultrasounds Ultrasounds are performed to confirm a viable pregnancy through the detection of a heartbeat and to determine how far along the pregnancy is. Support Our relationship with you does not end with pregnancy testing or an ultrasound. TennCare Medicaid. TennCare is the state of Tennessee’s Medicaid program. It provides healthcare to mostly low-income pregnant women, parents or caretakers of a minor child, children and individuals who are elderly or have a disability. To get Medicaid, you must meet the income and resource limits. You can apply anytime for TennCare. There are several different groups of people that may qualify. And, each group has different income limits. Some of the groups also have limits on how much you own-your "resources." These are things like bank accounts, cars, and land. The number of people who live in your household count too. Some of the groups TennCare Medicaid covers are:

•  Children under age 21
•  Women who are pregnant
• Parents or caretakers of a minor child (The child must live with you and be a close relative.)
• Individuals who need treatment for breast or cervical cancer
• People who get an SSI check (Supplemental Security Income)
•  People who have gotten both an SSI check and a Social Security check in the same month at least once since April, 1977 AND who still get a Social Security check. To apply please visit: tenncareconnect.tn.gov

Tennessee Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired Independent Living Program. We provide direct one-on-one in home training to individuals with significant vision loss. Our Rehabilitation Instructors teach individuals how to use adaptive techniques or adaptive equipment to continue or resume some of their daily living tasks regardless of their vision loss. ​The Sevier County Health Department Care Coordination and Home Visitation Program: CHANT services provide referrals and resources that impact pregnancy, child, and maternal health outcomes. Pregnant, postpartum adolescents and women, children under the age of 5, TennCare Kids and Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs are all eligible. This voluntary program benefits the entire family. Our communication is via phone and mail and we have interpreter services available if needed.
