The McNabb Center’s Parent Place program offers SUPERVISED VISITATIONS for children and families, non-custodial parents, grandparents, or other relatives. TN VOICES: SURVIVOR CONNECTION PROGRAM: Survivor Connection teams serve individuals including children, youth, and young adults ages 0 -24 who have been victimized (child abuse, child sexual abuse or assault, or witnessed domestic/family violence). Services are free for the family and completely voluntary. No insurance is required. Care coordinators and family support Specialists with lived experience visit the family at least once per week to provide in-home wraparound services offering support in the stabilization of the family, advocacy in community settings and linkages to community resources during a 4 – 6-month period of enrollment. The Fix - Road to Recovery Do you, your child, your spouse, or friend struggle with Addiction? The Fix is an addiction recovery group for anyone struggling with drugs or alcohol addition, as well as a support group for family and friends. All are welcome and no one will be judge. Victim Advocacy Program thru the YWCA provides life-saving services to victims of Domestic Violence, racism, abuse, etc. in Knox, Sevier and Anderson Counties. Services include: Safety Planning and Danger Assessments, advocacy at the Family Justice Center both in court and in the community, as well as community education and support groups. FAMILY ADVOCATE FOR THE RELATIVE CAREGIVER PROGRAM: We work with families who have decided to take in children that are not of their household (nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren) in order to avoid having the children enter custody of the State. We provide FREE services to the families that have taken these related children into their households. We offer family advocacy, case management services, referral services, child and family activities and emergency financial assistance (if families qualify). Anyone can make a referral. I just need the full name of the person and their phone number. I can take it from there. I also speak fluent Spanish.
